Aneesh Chopra is America’s first Chief Technology Officer. He was appointed by President Barack Obama in April and tasked with driving U.S. technology policies on critical issues such as national broadband expansion and cybersecurity.

Prior to joining Governor Tim Kaine's cabinet in Virginia, Mr. Chopra served as Managing Director with the Advisory Board Company, a publicly-traded health care think tank serving nearly 2,500 hospitals and health systems.
